Serra da Mantiqueira is a mountain range in southeastern Brazil that spans the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro. It is known for its high altitudes, with peaks reaching up to 9,180 feet. The Serra da Mantiqueira is particularly renowned for producing high-quality Arabica coffee, thanks to its unique microclimate and elevation, which help develop rich flavors in the coffee beans. Coffee from the region has gained recognition both in Brazil and internationally for its coffee. It is known for producing specialty coffees that are sought after by connoisseurs and coffee enthusiasts around the world.

São Sebastião da Grama

Our coffee is cultivated in São Sebastião da Grama, a small town nestled in the heart of the Serra da Mantiqueira.It is a hidden gem in Brazil’s renowned coffee-growing regions. Situated at an elevation of approximately 3,280 to 3,940 feet above sea level. Our coffee-growing region benefits from the perfect combination of altitude, climate, and rich soils creates the ideal conditions for cultivating exceptional Arabica beans.

São Sebastião da Grama is also a volcanic region, which significantly enhances the quality of our coffee. The volcanic soil is rich in essential nutrients like phosphorus, potassium, and iron, which are crucial for the healthy growth of coffee plants and resulting in beans that are robust and flavorful. The unique microclimate, high elevations and volcanic region soil contribute to the beans' distinct characteristics, resulting in natural sweetness and acidity, and a smooth, full-bodied coffee that is both rare and exceptional.
